The final Amrit Snan started on Basant Panchami in Maha Kumbh. There is a lot of enthusiasm among the devotees about this. Sadhus and saints of the Akhara are taking a dip in the Sangam. This is the third and last Amrit Snan of 13 Akharas. The Maha Kumbh Mela administration has made extensive preparations for this bath. More than five crore devotees are expected to bathe on this festival. Along with giving all the officers their responsibilities, their accountability has also been fixed. A day before the bath, senior police and administration officers visited the fair area. The preparations were finalized by removing the shortcomings found during this time. The state government will shower flowers on the saints and devotees with 25 quintals of rose petals.
